Gold OPI Swatches!

My friend Rhonni found an OPI gold glitter without a label at a salon today. Several of us have been trying to figure out what it could be. She was thinking it might be OPI Simply Smash-ing, but I think that polish is too "green" to be a gold. So I pulled out some of my gold-ish OPI colors to compare to it.

See her post with photos of the mystery polish HERE.

I wanted to share this with you as well, just in case you were wondering how any of these polishes compare to each other! :-)

EDIT: Alas, I found MORE gold-ish OPI in my stash!

Sephora by OPI Spark-tacular Top Coat!

I just received this polish today in the mail from Sephora, I couldn't wait to try it out. I also wanted to post some swatches of it, since its new.

Spark-tacular top coat is a multi-colored glitter polish in a clear base. This polish is PACKED with glitter! One coat is all you need! It looks like it has 3 different sized hexagon shaped glitters. There are so many colors too, I cannot even begin to name them all! I decided to layer it over white to make it POP!

I love the way the glitter looks like it is floating over the white. I also used 1 coat of Gelous over the glitter before adding Qtica Extending Top Coat.

What do you think of this glitter?

OPI DS Glamour!

I got really lucky this weekend and happened to find a couple bottles of DS Glamour at my cousin's salon. She was sitting on a gold mine this entire time and I had no idea! It was the first time I got to go through her stash and I definitely raided it! She also had DS Amethyst, China Glaze LOL, a couple Kaleidoscopes, and a few other HTF OPIs. I got them all at a great price too. She now thinks I am crazy. LOL

DS Glamour is so beautiful. It has now become one of my all time favorite nail polishes. Application was like a dream, I used 2 coats. I topped it off with Orly Won't Chip. The holo effect is much stronger in person, I feel like these photos don't do it any justice!

OPI DS Ruby!

Hello readers, today I want to show you OPI DS Ruby. DS Ruby is one of the older Designer Series polishes by OPI. The bottle is very holo but not as much on the nail. I still really enjoy this polish because its a nice shade of pink and even when the holo isnt present it is still very shimmery.

It applied like a dream, I used 2 coats, and topped it off with Nubar Diamont Seal and Shine Top Coat.

Today was a sunny day, so I took some shots outside before I changed my polish. Please don't mind the slight tip wear....
